TUN – Medina Mirror
The team aims to improve the image of the Medina by sharing information and stories through social and print media and by creating opportunities for locals and visitors to interact and exchange. The team identified the need to move away from a kitch or negative image of the Medina to unveiling its “true soul” by bringing together the inhabitants of the Medina and “outsiders” and telling its stories to a wider audience. The concept integrates existing and new initiatives into single platform which would include things like: tours by locals, a network local bed and breakfast services, bloggers writing about the lives in the Medina, civil society’s work in the fields of heritage preservation and promotion of local craftsmanship, participatory journaling, etc…
