TUN – The Food Connection
The team aimed to start a health movement in Tunis by focusing on “food” and building stronger skill-based links between the older and younger generations. The concept consists in a platform for: (1) local women to share and teach young people how to prepare old food recipes (via text, videos, public workshops, or home-based experiences) and (2) for young people to promote the local food culture and to enhance related women economic activity through design (e.g. packaging), technology (e.g. online booking), and social media (e.g. e-marketing). This concept has the potential to scale over Tunis supported by events and pop-up stores connecting a wider community.
